Introduction to Writer's Classroom
Writer's Classroom is for those who have just started writing or want to.
First, what I share in Writer’s Classroom is my personal experience and methods and is meant as inspiration. I will sometimes provide book titles, but only because I find them valuable and inspirational; I don’t get paid for advertising, but if I link to a book and you buy, I will get a small commission that will not affect your price, and I am grateful for the contribution.
Writer’s Classroom is focused on fiction. I will share my techniques and sources of inspiration and give you an example of how I build a story. We will also explore various aspects of the writing process, such as mental aspects, preparation, and time management, which are necessary to ensure progress in your writing. I aim to cover the process from all angles and provide tips and tricks to help you become a writer and avoid the pitfalls I didn’t.
I will discuss the post-writing process, such as manuscript revision, proofreading, and how to build a team around you as an author. If you go the traditional way, self-publish, or a hybrid, how you want to publish will be up to you.
I need to point out that writers work in different ways. You can use what you read as inspiration, try it out if you think it will work for you, adjust, and keep adjusting until it works for you. I have learned that my techniques evolve and adapt to my writing: short stories, novels, or non-fiction. However, I use my questioning technique for every kind of writing.
